ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110 & AS9120 Quality Management System Audit Services

Quality Professional Consulting Group Inc. provides independent and professional Quality Management System (QMS) audit services to organizations seeking to evaluate, strengthen, and improve their management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110, AS9120, and applicable customer and regulatory requirements. Our audit services support organizations that require objective assurance, certification readiness, and practical improvement insights—whether preparing for an external certification audit, addressing identified risks, or strengthening overall QMS effectiveness.

Professional and Independent QMS Audits

All audits are conducted by an experienced ISO 9001 and AS9100 Lead Auditor with extensive aerospace and manufacturing experience. Our audits are:

  • Standards-based and objective
  • Risk-focused and process-oriented
  • Aligned with certification body expectations
  • Focused on both compliance and effectiveness

We do not provide checklist-only audits. Each audit is designed to evaluate how well the QMS actually works in practice.

Internal Quality Audits

We perform independent internal audits in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements to help organizations:

  • Verify conformity to applicable standards
  • Evaluate process effectiveness
  • Identify risks and opportunities
  • Prepare for certification or surveillance audits
  • Strengthen internal audit programs

Internal audits may be performed as:

  • Full-system audits
  • Process-based audits
  • Risk-focused audits
  • Program-based internal audit support

AS9100 Aerospace Quality Audits

For aerospace and aviation organizations, we provide AS9100 internal and readiness audits aligned with aerospace-specific requirements, including:

  • Operational risk management
  • Configuration management
  • Control of nonconforming outputs
  • Supplier control and external provider oversight
  • Product safety and human factors
  • Continual improvement

Our aerospace audit experience includes build-to-print manufacturers, design and development organizations, precision machining suppliers, maintenance and service organizations, and distributors.

AS9110 & AS9120 Audits

We support organizations operating under:

  • AS9110 – Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO)
  • AS9120 – Aerospace distributors

Audit activities address:

  • Regulatory and customer requirements
  • Maintenance or distribution-specific processes
  • Traceability, product conformity, and risk
  • Certification readiness and surveillance preparation

Supplier & Second-Party Audits

We conduct supplier and second-party audits to support:

  • Supplier approval and monitoring
  • Risk-based supplier oversight
  • Customer or regulatory expectations
  • Aerospace and non-aerospace supply chains

Supplier audits may be conducted against:

  • ISO 9001
  • AS9100 / AS9110 / AS9120
  • Customer-specific requirements
  • Contractual quality clauses

Certification Readiness & Gap Audits

Certification readiness audits provide a clear, structured assessment of your organization’s preparedness for:

  • Initial certification
  • Surveillance audits
  • Recertification audits

Deliverables include:

  • Identified gaps against the applicable standard
  • Risk-based prioritization
  • Practical recommendations for closure
  • Audit-ready evidence expectations

Letters of Compliance

For some small or developing organizations, formal third-party certification to a management system standard may not be practical or commercially justified. However, customer, contractual, or regulatory expectations may still require demonstrated conformity to recognized standards. Quality Professional Consulting Group Inc. provides structured compliance assessments against applicable management system standards, including ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110, and AS9120. Upon completion of the assessment and verification that identified gaps have been adequately addressed, we issue a Letter of Compliance. These letters provide objective, professional confirmation of conformity and may be used by organizations to demonstrate compliance to customers, clients, or other interested parties where certification is not required. A Letter of Compliance is not a certification and does not replace third-party registration where required.

Audit Methodology

Our audit methodology is:

  • Process-based (not clause-chasing)
  • Risk-driven
  • Evidence-focused
  • Aligned with ISO 19011 principles

Audits are planned, executed, and reported in a manner consistent with certification body audit practices, ensuring realistic expectations and meaningful outcomes.
